Shareable Blog Content Tips

April 26, 2014 By Michael Stuart

Creating shareable blog content is the one of the best ways to boost social media shares and increase your website traffic.
shareable blog content
Shareable blog content is exciting, engaging and worthy of readers sharing with their friends, followers and connections on social media.

Tips on for creating content that gets shared.

1. Build Online Relationships

Marketing online is considered relationship marketing because, more than ever, customers want to know the “man behind the curtain.” Customers want to get to know business owners and bloggers on a more personal basis. They want to know about your values and beliefs.

2. Create Relevant Content

Articles that provide valuable and useful information and tips are crucial to help you stand out amongst the crowd. Remember to educate, entertain and empower with every post. It’s all about giving the reader that “a-ha” moment and solving their problems.

3. Keep It Short And Sweet

In today’s fast paced world, readers want quick tips and instant gratification. Writing a blog post that gets the message across in 300 to 600 words gives the reader what they want and entices them to read your other articles.

4. Encourage Sharing

The fastest way to grow your readership is by encouraging readers to share your posts. Therefore, it’s essential to add sharing buttons to your site and posts.

5. Call To Action

Writing great content isn’t enough. You need to have a call to action at the end of your post. A call to action tells the reader what you want them to do next.

  • If readers reach the end of your blog post and you haven’t given them a direction, they will more than likely click away.
  • Your goal is to keep them on your site longer hoping they’ll share your content, click a link or post a comment. Adding a call to action at the end of your post is the best way to do just that

Your main goal is to create shareable blog content that exceeds the expectations of your readers, who will then share and come back for more.
