Your Content Curation Cheat Sheet

If you keep tabs on the latest social media marketing trends, you probably already know that content curation is where it’s at in terms of getting your brand out there in a non-invasive, non-promotional way.

It’s how industry leaders establish themselves as authorities in their respective fields.

Fill Your Feed
One of the biggest obstacles people have to getting into content curation is finding content to share. Part of the answer is to use a feed reader.

It’s a good idea for most people to select a few areas of interest to their target audience and share content related to those subjects.

Establish Credibility
You tell your followers a lot about yourself by the content you choose to share. After all, it’s what you’ve hand selected as worth looking at.

Be Consistent
Content curation won’t get you much of anywhere if you don’t do it all the time. Yes, even on weekends. Yes, even in the middle of night. Yes, even during hours that don’t correspond with your timezone.

If the above made you a bit nervous (how am I going to curate content around the clock–do I need to build a robot?!) you can breathe a sigh of relief. The key to successful content curation is to automate the majority of the processes.
